For Primary/Elementary homeschool curriculum, Rod & Staff won by keeping more focused on core values of Biblical morality, living simply, working with your hands, meekness, patience. That isn't to say the runner up was much worse, only that we aim to keep only the best examples before us and those entrusted to our care.

But for teaching reading to our 3rd child we discovered Eastern Mennonite Press' materials have been the best with the recent addition of Sing, Spell, Read & Write's Ferris-Wheel game to give practice using blends.
